Life as a weather geek:

This photo was taken by myself in the middle of the night on a warm and moist summers night, right outside the door to my building.

There was a lightning strike. Huge one. And for odd reasons I took a photo at the precise moment. Luck???
 The lightning struck the roof of my neighboring building. We are talking maximum 50 meters away here.. The shockwave was so massive
 that I got a hard push into the wall I had behind me and got bruises on my back. Later when I came back in,
 I noticed that the shockwave had been playing games with my kitchen. It was a mess out there with all cupboards and drawers opened in random ways.
While I had been taken photographs outside my PC had been on. Bad idea! My computer never could start after that, and I had to buy a new one.
 But hey, this lightning was cool! A kick! One for my personal history book. Fifth time in my life now with a real close call from a lightning strike.
I wonder if I am too stupid to be alive still for putting myself in these positions during storms??

I also have my very own weather station on a top a building, here in Herning, Denmark. The station is online 24/7/365 (well, when it works..)

Life as a traveler:

So here I am on my way to somewhere good once again:

My many travels have taken me to many places, but I think the 6 pilgrimmage travels to Australia were so ultimate and so overwhelming,
 that anything could ever be! With a few of the southerly areas excluded, I have been everywhere in Australia.
 I mostly traveled on my own, but on my last trip so far, my girlfriend at the time also traveled by my side.

I have and a huge amount of weird, funny, and even dramatic stories from those travels and around 2000 photos.

I can only say that I live traveling VERY much. There is no room here for telling all the funny small anecdotes from my Downunder adventures.
 

I now give advice to people wanting to go to Australia. For free. I just enjoy it.

Me as a pilot?

Well, that would have to be in Microsoft Flightsimulator X then!
But I have been trying a bit of glider-plane flying though with an instructor.
It wasn't all to diffucult a plane to steer in fact. I remember my first driving lessons as more troublesome in fact..

By the way, have a look at the middle image above. To the far left is the G-meter, which reads that
the flight has gone as far as from +4.5 to -3.5 G's- Not bad! Especially the wire-pull-up to to flying altitude
is quite a fun ride. I can recommend glider flying to anyone who is not afraid of these things!
